Beginner Adult Tap Class
We've been getting some requests for a tap class for adult beginners. The time slot that is currently available is Tuesdays 6:30-7:15pm. We’ll start out with one 9-week session (Jan. 31 – April 3). Cost is determined by the number of classes your family takes. For example, if you’re already paying for 5 classes per week ($466), then adding on Adult Tap would cost $53 for 9 weeks. So borrow or buy some comfortable tap shoes (black or tan – your choice. And any style is fine – although high heels can be more difficult for beginners). No dress code for class, but dress in layers since the room is chilly when we start. Women and men are welcome. Please tell your friends and neighbors! The more the merrier!
REAL Dance Moms
We are so thankful that our HBS Dance Moms (and Dads) are nothing like the ones on the reality show "Dance Moms". A colleague of Holly's has created the tee shirts above to express the opinion of positive dance moms. I bet our dancers would love seeing their moms wearing one of these!
Holiday Parties
This year's holiday parties have been great fun, full of games, cookies, and festive outfits!
We've Moved!
We are thrilled to announce that we have moved our dance studio to a new location at One New Boston Drive in Canton! The new studio is just off Route 138, near the Irish Cultural Center (see map below). Our new space includes all the amenities of the existing studio, including the customized floating dance floor, full wall of mirrors, air conditioning, closed-circuit TV, and plenty of parking. We also have two studios which will allow us to offer additional smaller classes, such as adult classes, boys-only classes, exercise classes, theatrical dance and theater classes, and ballroom dance lessons.
We look forward dancing with you in our brand new “home”!
Summer Dance Camp
This year's Dance Camp was a big hit, and a fun introduction to our new studio! Our summer dance camps are a wonderful opportunity for dancers to continue their training or for new students to try different styles of dance.
